OR-5200 Ver.6 will sometimes not start.
-

Since Ver.6, the java execution environment has changed.
For this reason, due to the difference in the amount of memory required
by OR-5200 at startup,
there are cases where the Ver.5 series can be started
but the Ver.6 series cannot be started in some environments,
where there is little available memory,
running incompatible security software, etc.
You may avoid this problem by changing the required memory at startupwith the startup option of OR-5200.
■ Confirm memory shortage for Java environment
1. Open the install folder of OR-5200 with Explorer.
(Right-click the OR-5200 shortcut on the desktop andselect "Open File Location" to open the install folder.
Or, right-click on the OR-5200 in the Start menu, and execute "Open File Location".)
2. Move to the jre \ bin folder.
3. Enter "cmd" in the address bar.
4. When the command prompt opens, enter "java -version" and execute. If the following message is displayed instead,
the following workaround may be effective.
"Error occurred during initialization of VM Could not reserve enough spacefor 716 800KB object heap"
■ The method to avoid this problem
Specify the "-VM" option of the startup parameter to changethe amount of memory for the Java environment.
Refer to the startup options in the operating manual.
There are two methods.
Method 1.
1) Create a shortcut to OR-5200.exe.
2) At the end of the link, add the -VM option.
For example, according to the information in"Confirm memory shortage for Java environment",
the memory shortage is "716800KByte".
So, to specify 512MByte, which is smaller than the required value,
add "-VM -Xmx512m".
Method 2.
This is a method when executing from the command line.
Example)C: \ Program Files (x86) \ OR-5200 \ OR-5200.exe -VM -Xmx512m
Note:
Reducing the amount of memory for startup OR-5200 may cause problemwhen running large scenario.
Also, we do not guarantee the effective due to various
operating environment of each customer,
